Marlborough Rising Talent: an afternoon performance by young local talent - real talents

Ann Liu Cannon and Rhett OConnorAnn Liu Cannon and Rhett OConnorSaturday (August 10) saw the return of Marlborough Rising Talent at the Town Hall - a free event showcasing the musical ability of various performers from the Marlborough area.  This year the musicians each played a longer set, mostly made up of original songs, an admirable feat considering the ages of those who took part.

Review: from Mozart to Bernstein - Ryan Drucker's piano recital at St Peter's Church

Pianist Ryan Drucker performed the latest recital in the Saint Peter’s Brilliant Young Musicians series (Sunday, March 17). Ryan graduated from the Royal Northern College of Music with a first class degree and was awarded the Alfred Clay Scholarship with the highest mark in an undergraduate recital. He is currently pursuing postgraduate studies at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

The Tee Trio has performed together for a relatively short time and are honing their skills by regularly participating in master classes such as the Thomas Ades class in 2017.
