Marlborough scored an impressive 37 away day victory at Purton to keep the Savernake Forest based outfit firmly in the title hunt. B
atting first after winning the toss Marlborough scored 157 all out with middle order batsmen Tom Jacques scoring a vital 36 with wicket keeper George Penfold scoring a crucial 27 to ensure that the Marlborough bowlers had a decent total to defend.
The pressure was on but the Marlborough bowlers bowled superbly and with excellent back up in the field Marlborough scored an impressive win by dismissing the home side for 120 all out. Opening bowler George Fox once again bowled superbly taking 3-46 while Will Langton and Ben Head both bagged a pair of wickets.
