The Hills Group has secured an exciting sponsorship deal with Marlborough golfer Ben Amor as he sets off to play the first rounds of his professional golfing career.
Ben turned professional in February this year after an enviable amateur career which included being crowned County Champion of Champions at Woodhall Spa in 2016, winning the West of England Amateur Championship 2015, representing Great Britain and Ireland three times in the boys’ team against Europe and winning the Carris Trophy in 2013 – to list just a few of his achievements.
Mike Hill, chief executive and Alan Pardoe, chairman, both of The Hills Group met up with Ben before he set off to wish him well and mark the occasion. Mike Hill said: “Hills has a long association with Marlborough Golf Club and we are excited to be able to support Ben as he embarks on his promising golf career.”
Ben is currently in the United Arab Emirates playing in the Ras Al Khaimah Classic and then moves onto Thailand for the MahaSamutr Masters, the Mountain Creek Open and the Pattana Golf Championships.
