Marlborough RFC officially thanks Ramsbury Brewery for their renovation of the Clubhouse bar

Marlborough RFC Chairman Gary Sharp with Deputy Mayor, Mark CooperMarlborough RFC Chairman Gary Sharp with Deputy Mayor, Mark CooperLast Friday (27 September), Marlborough RFC's renovated bar (courtesy of Ramsbury Brewery) was opened by Chairman Gary Sharp, who welcomed Deputy Mayor, Mark Cooper and a group of specially invited guests to share the celebration.

The revamp was kindly completed by one of the Club’s major local sponsors, Ramsbury Brewery.  Head of Sales and Marketing for Ramsbury Brewery, Will Thompson, when asked to provide a  few words regarding the Breweries involvement with the Rugby Club  said:  “As a local business we have the privilege to be involved with such a wonderful club, the new bar is our small way of showing that support and we do hope it becomes the place where even more wins are celebrated, with a pint or two or Red Ram of course.”

Gary thanked Ramsbury for their hard work in redesigning the bar, making the area look more aesthetically pleasing mixing rustic natural wood with hints of industrial elements.  The bar area has an airier and brighter feel allowing any weather worn rugby fan or social visitor to enjoy a coffee or something a little stronger in pleasant and welcoming surroundings.

Marlborough's Deputy Mayor Mark Cooper was personally thanked on behalf of the whole Marlborough Town Council for their continued support for the Club allowing it to continue to move forward.

The Clubhouse is available to hire for all kinds of events, whether it’s for celebrations, meetings, fitness or farewell to those who are no longer around. Please email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. to check for availability.
